Welcome to the Applied AI Essentials (AAIE) for Oil and Gas Industry Experts course! We’re thrilled to have you join us for this exciting journey into the world of AI tailored specifically for geoscientists and professionals in the oil and gas industry.

Since its inception in 2017, AAIE has empowered over 27,000 learners worldwide, helping them transition into successful AI practitioners. This six-week course is designed to equip you with all the essential skills needed to become proficient in AI applications within your field.

Throughout this course, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of AI fundamentals, machine learning, and deep learning, all within the context of geosciences. By the end of the program, you’ll have hands-on experience with advanced AI architectures such as Transformers, Diffusion Models, and Vision Transformers, enabling you to tackle complex geoscientific challenges.

Each week kicks off with a live session on Sunday, where I’ll introduce the topics and objectives. Mid-week, we’ll have another live session to discuss progress, answer questions, and dive deeper into the material. If you can’t make it, don’t worry – we’ll share the recorded session with everyone.

You’ll also work on projects that reinforce the week’s lessons, culminating in graded assignments that ensure you’re mastering the material. By the end of the first three weeks, you’ll be ready to embark on industry-specific projects, applying your newfound knowledge to real-world scenarios.

For those with busy schedules, we’ve got you covered. Our course is designed to be flexible, and you’ll have an additional 90 days after completion to catch up or revisit the material.
