Week 1 – Foundations of AI in Data Science
In the first week of the Applied AI Essentials (AAIE) for Oil and Gas Industry Experts course, participants will gain a foundational understanding of AI and its impact on the geosciences and the oil industry. The week begins with an introduction to key AI concepts and terminology, followed by Python programming basics tailored for geoscientists. Participants will learn data manipulation using Pandas and NumPy, focusing on geological datasets. The course then covers geoscientific data analysis, including types of data such as seismic and well logs, and essential data preprocessing and visualization techniques. The week concludes with hands-on Python exercises, applying skills to manipulate lithology classification data, preparing participants for more advanced AI applications in the coming weeks.

It was very exciting. There was lot's of things that related to python and Machine learning that i know through the course. The questions of quiz also very interesting. it is best idea for rivision also through that quiz. over experience is so good .i am happy for complete the course.
